Dr. Monica Dellimore was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. She
graduated co-valedictorian from Joe T. Robinson High School and went on
to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry at Duke University.
She then attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical
Sciences.
During her medical school training, she became a recipient of the National
Medical Association Ophthalmology Research Award and published in Archives
of Ophthalmology. Following completion of her Doctorate of Medicine, she
completed an Internal Medicine internship at UAMS.
Following her internship, she began her residency in Ophthalmology at
UAMS and was the recipient of the Raymond and Mary Morris Annual Ophthalmology
Resident Award in 2005. During her residency, she was also involved in
research that resulted in publication. She completed her residency training
in February 2007.
She specializes in general ophthalmology and is a member of the American
Academy of Ophthalmology.
Monica Dellimore has been married since 2002 to Imari John Dellimore.
Their biggest pride and joy is their son, Aiden.
Dr. Dellimore will see patients at the Baptist Eye Center location Monday
